Since 2010, as the new school year begins, Insafe releases its Back2School gift.
We are currently busy preparing our 2013 campaign which will launch in early September. Traditionally, the campaign consists of a 'gift box' of resources and tools for teachers to use throughout the school year, and is released on 8 September to mark the United Nations International Literacy Day.
However, as 8 September will fall on a Sunday in 2013, Insafe has again planned something a little bit different.
The countdown to the 2013 campaign will begin on Monday 2 September, and a new gift will be released each day that week.
Past gifts have included posters, lesson plans, games and other educational resources, for use with students of all ages. The full kit of resources will be made available on Monday 9 September 2013.
The Back2School gift will also contain further information on plans for Safer Internet Day (SID) 2014, which will take place on Tuesday 11 February 2014 with the theme 'Let's create a better internet together'.
