Last July saw the British Council deliver the first computer-based(CB) exam session for theCambridge English: Proficiency in Athens.

Our knowledge and experience, garnered through the delivery of a significant number of CB tests at other levels over previous years, could only lead to yet another successful administration, followed by an overwhelming number of positive comments from our customers and candidates:

“Unquestionably, it is a pioneering idea of yours (Cambridge English Language Assessment)as far as our country is concerned and we really appreciate it.

Initially, there is no doubt that Cambridge Proficiency is a certificate with depth, meaning that you have to practise really hard and struggle in order to be able to test yourself in the highest level.  Moreover, I do believe that the Cambridge University for one more time shows the path for sustainable development and this time through technology.

Thus, it gives us the spark to practise on our computers and become more familiar with it.  Personally, I never imagined that technology and education could be such an intriguing way of learning.

Concerning my experience, generally speaking it was a challenging as well as simple examination.  We could change our answer at a touch of a button without worrying at all, which was something of paramount importance especially when it comes to writing.

Furthermore, I have to admit that I thought it would quite easier in terms of reading but fortunately I managed it.  What is more, the computer program used for the examinations was undoubtedly suitable for computer users of any level since even a beginner could comprehend the format.  As for the personnel, one more time by our side and willing to prove us with their services, totally silent and on alertness.

Conclusively, I would like to thank you one more time for giving us the chance to deal with that kind of examinations and I wish to everyone of the examinees good luck.”
