CHANGE IN SCORING POLICY FOR MSU-CELP

As of December 2017, MSU is eliminating the requirement for candidates to earn a minimum of 12 out of 25 points on all of the CELP (Certificate of English Language Competency- B2) subsections in order to pass the exam.  This simplified scoring system has been in place for CELC (Certificate of English Language Proficiency- C2) for several administrations and will now apply to both exams.

Henceforth, in the interest of transparency, every candidate who receives a total score of 60 or more points will earn a certificate, and the candidate’s total score and subsection scores will be reported on the certificate.
