City & Guilds, the leading certification body globally, with more than two million learners working towards one of its qualifications on a yearly basis, has been represented in Greece over the past four years through its strategic alliance with PEOPLECERT.
In a global context where English language qualifications become increasingly important, City & Guilds offers the prestigious certifications for International English for Speakers of Other Languages (IESOL) and International Spoken English for Speakers of Other Languages (ISESOL) at all six levels of the Common European Framework, from beginner (A1) to very advanced (C2).
In an attempt to help students, parents, language school owners and EFL teachers endure the Greek financial crisis, City & Guilds significantly lowers the examination fees for its ESOL qualifications.
The 2013 pricelist includes substantial discounts as some fees have been reduced by up to 30%. Indicatively, the B2 complete examination (comprising both the IESOL and ISESOL test) is offered at only €120, making it an affordable and most respectable choice.
A the same time, candidates who take the complete examination (IESOL and ISESOL) in the same session and fail one of the two components will continue to have the chance to resit the component they failed for free.
This initiative is in line with both PEOPLECERT’s and City & Guilds’ common strategy to provide crucial support to the vital field of education and to offer students the opportunity to have their efforts recognized through reputable certifications.
