Our sixth award has a new title - The Macmillan Education Award for New Talent in Writing. It is open to authors who have not yet published with a commercial publisher. It recognises new talent in writing in any media. The winner receives £1,000 and the opportunity to publish their work.
Applications are judged by a panel of ELT experts, the shortlist is announced in March, and the winners are announced at an awards ceremony held in London on 22 May 2014.
