ANYBODY FOR MURDER?
By Brian Clemens and Dennis Spooner
A wife, a mistress, a cheating husband, a nosey neighbour and a greedy couple will keep you guessing what is going to happen next in this murder farce. The womanizing husband wants to kill his wife for the insurance money and comes up with a perfect, twisted plan, but oops! That didn’t go well, so now he has to change plans. The mistress doesn’t see what hits her from behind as the plot takes another twist. And the upright, greedy couple is bent on murder to get their hands on the millions of dollars in inheritance. Red hair, blonde hair, fake passports and disappearing and re-appearing bodies all add to the murderous fun of this hilarious thriller.

March 2013 was the time when the students of Ellinogermaniki Agogi lived the experience of “Anybody for Murder” staged by the senior group of the School’s Drama Club. Human relationships, plotting, intrigue, intentions, underhand practices, second thoughts and an unexpected ending left a sense of wonder to students, teachers and parents attending the six performances given by High school and Lyceum Students.
The play written by Brian Clemens and Dennis Spooner was adapted to the needs of the students by Mrs Zafi Mandali, Director of the Department of English and producer of the Drama Club projects. Drama Instructor Mrs Rousogiannaki Nektaria added to the play and lived up to everybody’s expectations.
