Cambridge English Qualifications Digital

From February 2024, Cambridge English Language Assessment will be moving from their current computer-based exam delivery to Cambridge English Qualifications Digital, which offer candidates even more benefits.

Candidates who would like to sit their exam before February 2024, they can still do so with the computer-based Cambridge English Qualifications. This option will not be available beyond the launch of Cambridge English Qualifications Digital.

 

Available from A2 Key to C2 Proficiency, Cambridge English Qualifications Digital provide a faster, flexible way to get a Cambridge English Qualification. They test the same knowledge and skills as paper-based exams, with digital features to help candidates take control and perform at their best.

Cambridge English Qualifications Digital are:

  1. Fast
    Results will be delivered in 5-10 working days
  2. Flexible
    Exam sessions are available up to 365 days a year
  1. Preferred
    Digital features help candidates focus and put them in control
  2. Secure
    Test content is randomised for increased security

 

What are the features of the digital exams that candidates prefer?

For the Listening test, headphones with volume control help you listen comfortably and concentrate.

The Writing test has an automatic word count and you can easily edit your work.

In the Reading test, you can make notes, highlight text and review your answers.

The Speaking test is face-to-face, to help develop real world communication skills.

Preparing for the digital exam

Although the format of the exams is different, they test the same knowledge and skills as the paper-based ones. There's no need to change course material to prepare for the digital exams. To familiarise yourself with the digital experience,
