On Saturday 4 February, the QLS Book Club had the honour of hosting one of the foremost luminaries in the field of ELT globally, Dr Luke Prodromou, over two online events under the title "Discover Shakespeare with Dr Luke Prodromou".
Dr Prodromou unraveled the mystery of William Shakespeare over two webinar presentations designed especially for classes from C to Proficiency of QLS member-schools across Greece. The young audience was invited to take a critical thinking approach to some of the puzzling facts about the man from Stratford and to query the mismatch between the life and the work of the universal genius William Shakespeare.
QLS Anti-Bullying Ambassadors presented Dr Prodromou and each webinar presentation was followed by an interactive Q & A, during which the special guest answered students' queries. Both sessions wrapped up with Shakespeare-themed prize draws including graded readers, courtesy of Express Publishing, and collectible gifts, courtesy of QLS.
