Exclusive Event Hosted by the British Council for ‘Advantage Members’

As a longstanding partner administering Cambridge English examinations in Greece for over 64 years, the British Council hosted an exclusive event at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Hotel in Athens on February 10th, 2024. This gathering was meticulously crafted to unite school owners and English teachers under one roof.

Irene Kladaki, British Council Director Exams, EU South-East Cluster, welcomed speakers and guests and set the event’s agenda.

Catherine Lloyd, Business Development Director for the UK, Ireland & East Europe at Cambridge updated the audience about the Cambridge Exams and delivered compelling presentations that captivated the audience of British Council Advantage members.

Darren Perrett, Senior Assessment Services, Recognition, and Pedagogy Manager for UKIEEMETA at Cambridge, provided an insightful session on global trends and candidate performance in Greece.

With over 100 teachers and school owners in attendance, the event provided a platform for educators to network, share knowledge, and foster collaborative opportunities.

The British Council extends heartfelt gratitude to all attendees whose participation contributed to the resounding success of the event. The shared moments captured in the photographs reflect the vibrancy and camaraderie of the occasion.
