The nationwide Christmas Volunteering Project of the QLS Network
of language schools in Greece, was successfully completed before
Christmas, in partnership with the Canadian “Cuddles For Cancer”
initiative led by multi-award-winning youth activist Faith Dickinson.
Young QLS volunteers met at their schools across Greece and with
the guidance of Faith, live from Canada, created a total of 220
warm festive cuddle blankets that were donated to the Hellenic Red
Cross for distribution to the flood victims on mainland Greece. All
participants received a certificate of voluntary participation, signed
by Faith Dickinson. The festive volunteering project wrapped up
Anti-Bullying Week 2023 for QLS schools and was organised by the
QLS National Youth Board as part of the 8th Volunteering Year "Be
Inclusive With QLS ".
