Job opportunity at the University of Bremen

The University of Bremen is looking for a person with a very good MA (or equivalent, passed with merit or distinction) in the fields of Language Learning, Teaching or Assessment, Applied Linguistics, Didactics of Foreign Languages (preferably English or German as Foreign/Second Language), Intercultural Education, or a related field. The ideal candidate should have high level proficiency either in German or in English (C1 or above) and be willing to relocate to Bremen (and to learn at least some German).
The job responsibilities include pursuing a PhD project in one of the above fields, as well as participating in the development and coordination of research projects and networks, organising guest lectures, conferences and other academic activities, academic publications and pursuing third-party funding. The selected candidate will be teaching one seminar (2 hours) per semester.
