The official announcement of this partnership was made during “The new era for IELTS” events on Saturday 12 November, 2016 at the Divani Caravel Hotel, in Athens and on Sunday 13 November, 2016 at the Makedonia Palace Hotel, in Thessaloniki. In both events the turnout was substantial, as the number of the English teachers as well as owners of schools of foreign languages exceeded 1,000.
The participants were given the chance to listen to interesting presentations by PEOPLECERT Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Byron Nicolaides, and by IDP Education Ltd Regional Manager in Western Europe, Melissa Cudmore. They also had the opportunity to listen to valuable information from Marios Molfetas, Business Development Director (Languages), and from Nikos Pylarinos and Ellie Noitsi, Corporate Executives, as well as to attend two academic presentations by PEOPLECERT Academic Associates, Marili Kousteni and Tina Karalis, which focused on the tasks of IELTS Writing and Speaking.
