The course ICT edTech in Action offers educators a structured pathway to integrate artificial intelligence and digital tools into classroom teaching. Hosted under the European Commission’s school-education platform, it targets primary through upper-secondary teachers (ISCED levels 1–3), as well as trainee teachers and pedagogical advisers. Participants learn to select and apply educational apps, AI tools and creative strategies — from video and graphic-based content to collaborative and interactive lesson design using platforms such as Canva, Padlet, Google Workspace, Scratch, and more. Over 20–25 hours of coursework, teachers explore how technology can personalise instruction, support diverse learning styles, and streamline routine tasks like planning or assessment. By the end, they will be able to craft engaging, technology-rich lesson plans, evaluate and embed edTech tools effectively, and design interactive, collaborative learning experiences. The programme emphasises hands-on learning through workshops, lab sessions and peer collaboration. It extends beyond theory, providing practical tools and techniques for real-classroom implementation — an important asset as education systems across Europe adapt to digital transformation.
