Teachers’ development workshop “Implementing Socratic Seminars in the classroom”

We are very excited to invite you to participate in the teachers’ development workshop “Implementing Socratic Seminars in the classroom”. Distinguished  teacher-trainer John Zola will facilitate the two full-day workshop at the International School of Athens on the 5th and 6th of May 2018.

The Socratic Seminar is a text-based, student- led discussion and a powerful tool for teachers to make the voice and work of students in the classroom, central. It is designed to engage students, promote critical thinking, and inspire exploration of big ideas.

John Zola has years of teacher-training experience at NESA Educators conferences in Thailand, South Korea, Qatar, Turkey, as well as schools across the Unites States.

This teachers’ workshop is highly interactive and participants can then begin to conduct seminars in their own classrooms. A certificate of attendance will also be awarded.
